SMU Predictions...

Been waiting for this one since the October 15, 1932 game SMU won 16–6 in Dallas. The Vic Hanson coached Orange used a highly touted 2nd string QB but still only managed 6 points. It is believed President Herbert Hoover was listening on the radio.
Why SMU gets 2 home games in a row (albeit 93 years apart) is beyond me. Who agreed to this? -- Lew Andreas?

SU 27 (if Carney plays)
SMU 31

34-10 .. we actually score a TD next Saturday but still look lost. This fix will take time.

Honest take: if we play like we did yesterday, we might not win another game this year. I keep telling myself that it is never as good as it seems nor as bad as it seems. Hard to get worse than yesterday.

35-10 Ponies, I don’t care what anybody says, defense was bad, but having a QB who can’t look off a receiver at this level is concerning. For a half for him to get used to the game not good but fine, but for 4 quarters is brutal.

Being rational is boring. I start every Saturday with a belief that Syracuse.. uhh... finds a way.

David Walker: 27
Doak Walker: 24

I think some of you are forgetting the 4-5 passes he strung together before making a terrible read or turning it over. I think there’s something to build on. Slowly but surely. I could be wrong though.
