I'm starting to think he is done for year. I have no inside info, just pure speculation. This is the second year in a row he has had to sit for an extended period of time because of his knee(s). Couple that with the fact that Jerami is now playing 40 min/game and Rak has improved significantly, I think the next time we see him in any real (read as not garbage) time is next year.

Definitely starting to look that way. Or the injury is more serious than they are letting on. But I'm surprised he got garbage duty vs VT and then nothing since.

I think they fully intend on bringing him back. Otherwise I don't think he would have played those couple of mop minutes, against VT - I think it was. When it first came out, I thought there was a chance they might try and red-shirt him. I think the rule is to just play in a third or less games, so getting to 14 pretty much dismisses that idea.

So, I think JB does intend to play him. I think there was a setback. I hope when he comes back they reinstitute the token start for him. Great guy and I like the token starts, I think it helps JB sub patterns.

Bone bruises are tricky. I smacked my knee around Thanksgiving chopping wood and it was excruciating. The pain went away after a few days and has been gone up until last week. I was playing basketball against my daughter and the next day the pain came right back. Even worse than before. I am sure that the docs are giving it as much time as possible to heal so that he can be ready for the end of the season.

I am hopeful they are keeping him out and trying to make sure he is 100% for the tournament. Wild and hopeful speculation on my part.

Eh, I still think he may have his moments. Rak and Baye are both susceptible to foul trouble, and DC will get his time then. Hopefully he can show he belongs on the court - he was showing some progress prior to the injury. His rebounding is already solid - he's got some time to play with, in the interim maybe he learns to quit bringing the ball down before going up for a shot (not holding my breath).

Overall though, I think he sees limited minutes. JB loves Baye's defense and hustle, and with Rak progressing offensively it makes Coleman less necessary. Baye gives nothing on offense though - so in certain match-ups he should get the call over him.

We'll see - whether or not he can show that he can play some defense will prolly determine how much court time he sees going forward. This of course assumes it's still just a minor injury that will stop bothering him going forward.

Syracuse's Dajuan Coleman will miss the rest of the season after needing surgery to repair a leg injury. Syracuse.com

Definitely a coincidence that the news drops today
