So glad Slayton is back

perhaps the only positive of our slim dl depth, thank god he ended the season reasonably healthy.

Could always use another big DT and an elite pass rusher, but going forward we have the best DL depth in many season. The starting unit returns. Lose only Samuels from the second unit. Black returns from injury and is up to 285 lbs. Pickard returns from injury. Jonathan, Morton and Hughes in their second years should contribute as depth.

Compare that to recent seasons when we had RsF and a true rotation in the top DT rotation (2015), or true frosh at DEs (2016, or true sophs in 3 spots in the front 4 (2017).

When I mentioned slim depth I was speaking about the 2017 line. A lot of youth and injuries.

He’s at 294 pounds right now.
