Yeah. With our schedule to start the year I’m pretty sure it was about 100/1 to go 8-4 based on the O/U being 4.5. And the fact that FSU and Louisville were supposed to be almost automatic losses

FSU is in meltdown mode, come off a thrashing, 2/3 empty stadium, fans there ready to launch at the least negative thing.

I think if we win this weekend, a sweep is in play. I'm very worried about coming out flat vs FSU, giving them some momentum and for their pride to step up. This, to me, is the easiest game left if we play it correctly. This is one game where I hope we win the toss and then dance down the field for a score.

After this game, I feel like the momentum will be a groundswell for this team. November is all about who is playing for what in college football. We're playing for relevancy which is a really powerful 12th man.

Great post. They gotta somehow shake off the early game, on the road cobwebs on Saturday. Hard for college kids psychologically. They also haven't played in 2 weeks - might take a little time to find a rhythm. As long as we don't start out like the LSU game - I think we'll be fine. And then yes - I think the team plays downhill for the rest of the year (barring a Dungey injury).

God THAT was a nice run! One of my favs. I remember my neurotic look at each game:

1. Beat a ranked Ville team led by Teddy. A team that was hot. Teddy took it like a man aa my seats are 115, 3 rows from the visitor bench. Huge fan of his.

2. At mizzou was epic. Our O with Nassib and lemon was humming and that late throw to the right for Alex was epic!

3. I was crazy paranoid @ temple the next week. Temple had talent and was physical...but Hackett was feelin it too as an OC .we were gritty and smart with the play calling. Not sure how many offenses were better than us at season end in 2012

4. Then , in the bowl we beat up Gino @ Yankee stadium and pounded the WVU D on the ground. Epic 4 game closure to a season!

To finish first, Clemson has to beat NCSt this week and lose to FSU.

NCst in addition to losing to Clemson needs to lose two out of three to Wake, BC, and UNC.

If all that were to happen SU would be playing for the conference.

If SU goes 4-0, BC, Wake, Lville and FSU can't catch up, all have 3 or 4 conference losses already.
