With FSU losing to Virginia, dare I dream of a scenario where we could win the conference, or at least make the conference title game with a chance to make the playoff?

I know, LOTS of football to go, and we need to see what Collins has but...That Virginia win last night, coupled with our win at an , albeit down, Clemson has me dreaming things I had not considered coming into the season.

Who knows, but it's fun. A wide open ACC might not be good for the conference, but for us programs, who are not the heavyweights, it's awesome

Completely agree with that last sentence. Have to win today. It's a one game season every week from here on out.

Yea I've had Duke circled all year as a must win and although expectations for the long haul on the season are higher now after Clemson we just have to get this win no matter what. A sold out Dome and then keeping the fans packing seats would be a nice bonus.

Our defense needs to show that they can handle these offenses. Get their elite QBs uncomfortable and off the field. NCState had a 99 yard TD drive that took almost 9 and half mins in the 2nd quarter and another 95 yard TD drive in the 4th that was 7 and half mins. That's how you handle a guy like Mensah, make him and his offense just sit around on the sideline watching their defense get worked.

A loss to a mediocre Duke team just is one of those games that could haunt us all year like Stanford last year. I don't want to be the Syracuse football doing the same stuff program with the big win let down anymore.

Miami will have a lot to say about how open things are. They are in the driver's seat. But...Cristobal

Live look in at Cristobal in the drivers seat:

What I absolutely detest is how when a lesser light of the SEC or B1G knocks off one of their heavyweights the talking heads are all, "This shows the top-to-bottom strength of the SEC/B1G," but when one of the lesser lights of the ACC beats a heavyweight they're all, "This is another example of how weak the ACC is."

Freaking Feinbaum, ugly bastard.

Duke is a good team. They were projected to be an 8-9 win team. They underachieved earlier this year losing to Tulane and getting killed by Illinois. Mensah is either the best or 2nd best QB in the ACC. This was always going to be a tough game. I'm just really disappointed that our defense got rocked like they did and didn't pick up the offense. Duke had worst passing defense in ACC and we scored 3 points.

No. All the eggs are in the Miami basket.

Referee shenanigans will be all over the place to keep Miami untouched.

We got jobbed early on that really set the negative tone and chose the wrong guy to take the QB reins.

I imagine moving forward they will protect Miami

They missed an obvious call that should have let Wake run the clock out to help GT…. Who just got the game to OT

They missed an obvious call that should have let Wake run things out to help GT….
Just about to post the same thing. Missed a blatant offside on GT D that would have given Wake a first down and chance to run out the clock.

Now the game is going to OT.

You can’t miss that call in pop warner… let alone in that big of a moment…
