There is a wide spectrum between abyssmal and good. And I don't think anyone is scared to criticize where criticism is due, but the decision was made with football to remove obstacles and give Babers every opportunity to succeed. Based on preseason criteria of virtually everyone who follows college football, this season was a success.

I agree mens basketball program is not in a good position right now, but don't think it sinks to abyssmal, and not sure what the AD can do to change things in the short term. Sitting down with the H0F head coach and agreeing to a transition plan is probably the most reasonable outcome. And whether it is this year or next, that plan is in place. I honestly wish JB would decide to ride into the sunset, he deserves it, and I have little confidence that he can complegtely turn that ship around.

Let's not forget about the two major NIL foundations and the commitment from a major donor to augment those with marquis player sponsorships. You can be assured that Wildhack was instrumental in supporting the establishment of these initiatives as smuch as he posiibly could be in alignment with NCAA regulations.
