Welcome back Kris Joseph! He had so many wide open shots from 3 tonight he was bound to get out of his slump. He played well even through his 3pt slump but I was itching for a hot night from him and tonight we got it when we needed it (every last one.)

CJ sucked tonight. And I mean sucked. He missed a bunch of open looks, had a few turnovers. When we get zoned he is the key guy for us because he's the man who sits in the gaps. He played like crap, therefore the whole team did. He fought hard on the glass but he really needs to stick those wide open shots.

I was dissapointed JB didn't come back to Triche in the second half and I am not prone to asking for him over Dion. Dion was penetrating and dishing well when he entered the game in the second half but that was after Triche had nailed a huge three and seemed pumped up and ready to have a big half.

Also, I am probably the biggest proponent of stall ball out there but JB went to it wayyy too early. To go to stall ball only up 2 buckets with over 4 minutes to go is not prudent against a defense that we had trouble against all night. If I was a coach and up 3 possessions w under 4 mins to go Im gonna run stall ball everytime but we went to it too early tonight.

My post sounds like mostly complaints but Im proud of the way the team fought tonight after getting pounded on the glass in the first half, blowing the lead, giving up 2 DEEP threes to Clark. Not a lot went our way tonight but we found a way.

War Otto! Porter!

I guess I'm in the minority but I thought the primary difference between Joseph and Fair was one of them made shots and the other didn't. CJ did have 9 boards and I still trust his midrange shot even if it wasn't falling tonight. Plus the tip off Scoop's wide open miss was big.
