The replies after the original post are pretty harsh... all based on the person not having many posts to date... though with absolutely no insight of their own, I don't see why they would totally call BS on the post. Seems to me to be pretty logical and just as, if not more, believable then many articles on the sports sites...

Interesting about the part of fanbase. A strong local fanbase doesn't always mean to the conference if they have no national recognition. That makes a lot of sense and something I don't always think about.
