No thanks to that too risky they take a game the entire roster will have chips on their shoulder for not getting offered by us.

Kent State would be a good 'buy' game for 2020 Sean Lewis should still be around. Would give them a return game if we had to.

We are scheduling teams like Army, UConn and Rutgers. I don't see why we should be afraid of Buffalo. All are capable of beating FBS schools on a good day...

It is going to be hard to get 2 for 1 type deals with FBS opponents from this point forward. I am sure that is why we scheduled Ohio; they were willing to play at the Dome without another game at their stadium.

If we have to play home and home games with OOC opponents, it makes sense to either

a) play them in locations where we recruit or
b) play them in locations convenient for Syracuse fans to attend the away game

Buffalo checks both boxes and is certainly a winnable game as well. I would schedule them in a home and home or a 2 for 1, no question.
