I enjoy dogging our former rival more than most. But even I would ignore this transgression. The no summer league rule has questionable value to begin with.

Given the circumstances here, the NCAA person or people who were involved with this case need to resign. As do everyone who signed off on the decision to deny the waiver request.

So its okay for student-athletes to play professional baseball(I have no problem with kids playing professional baseball for the record) getting paid to play this baseball and play collegiate football/basketball but its not okay for a basketball player to play in a summer league where they receive no compensation. The NCAA really is a joke.
