Yeah there’s no point in asking him, cuz he won’t answer it. I’m not sure if he’s ever given a worthwhile answer to any question related to game strategy, clock management, personnel decisions, etc. etc.

Hey, I am not trying to project that we’re in GREAT shape.

But after the last 3.5 games (since halftime of the CU game) of slumber, there was some life in the offense. The offensive line was quite good, with a series of younger/fresh faces (amazing what can happen with Vetorello not a sieve in the middle). The ball got spread around to players other than Tucker and Gadsden. Allen showed. Schrader was spry. The return game was terrific. I even admired the spunk, determination and effort of the defense tonight. They did not do enough in the end, but they are engaged and still playing hard. I was not sure of this entering tonight.

If there is no other running threat besides Tucker and Shrader, the other team will think we'll be going to Tucker, but of course we never will, and that will keep them guessing.

Dino makes basic decisions like this that even the announcers question. Look at his record of things like clock management. Punting when down by 10 and 4 minute left etc...

For our next coach, we don't need a great in game coach - just one who doesn't get out coached each and every week. Wake's coach looked liked Saban compared to Dino.

I was pleasantly surprised with how they did. If the officiating and coaching hadn't left such a sour taste, I would actually be fairly pleased with yesterday's performance. The young kids on D played their hearts out, but some just aren't physically ready yet.

I think this is right, but they ran out of it and still had 5 seconds left to punt.

Take the delay of game if you have to. The timeout is so much more valuable than the 5 yards. Drives me crazy when coaches act like delay of game is 15 yards and loss of down.

considering the tv coverage, maybe wake had a block on and we didnt have it covered as well? who knows.
