I thought of that too.Pitt and BC may both be bowl eligible by the time they play us.
Pitt has a shot this weekend against UNC at home.
BC will secure a bid with a win over NC State this weekend.
I also don't think either Pitt or BC would let up at against SU. They both are 2 of our longest and closest rivals.I'm not sure this helps us. It's not like professional sports where they qualify for the playoffs and then rest up the last game or two. In college football, each win improves the bowl you get. One win could mean the difference between Birmingham, AL or San Diego.
NC State has been playing better since their QB returned and their defense is decent. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they beat BC.
If Pitt gets sent to Birmingham again I will die from laughter.I'm not sure this helps us. It's not like professional sports where they qualify for the playoffs and then rest up the last game or two. In college football, each win improves the bowl you get. One win could mean the difference between Birmingham, AL or San Diego.
Sometimes ...no pressure better play. We have to win one of those and the players know it
