Concur. Rise Against is pretty big and all, but I still feel like they're a tad underrated compared to what else is out there in the genre.....

Anyway, speaking of criminally underrated, how about Lyrics Born! The best darn Japanese-American rapper to ever exist (with some assistance here from RL Burnside, or perhaps the other way around):
