Historic UMC ties to both schools. Same with Duke (actually Duke and SU retain their ties, albeit SU more loosely).

I used to make the Syracuse to Nashville drive every two weeks. Did it for 1.5 years so I'm sure I could do it a couple more times. It's just under 1000 miles and I did once with only one stop for gas and urinary relief. It's a very nice city with a lot to do and see.

Nashville is an awesome city. My brother just got a teaching position at Vandy so I am hoping for this for many reasons!
