You could almost say there is a correlation between their rise and the talent they have produced and the success they have had, dove tailing with the decline of Nebraska's success.
Kids who would have in the past gone to Nebraska as walk-ons or bench players that might blossom or become discovered gems for Nebraska, were going elsewhere (ND St) to play right away or play earlier than otherwise.
