I remember LB John Lusardi (NJ) sealing the Maryland game for us in 1991 with a pick six. SU had a stellar 10-2 season including a solid thumping of #5 Florida (featuring Daddy Culpepper) and a 24-17 victory over Ohio State in the Hall of Fame Bowl. Lusardi went on to have an excellent senior year (thanks to a Dan Conley injury) as this NY Times article testifies to:
