I’ll never forget walking into the Tops on the corner of Nottingham the morning of the Pitt game last year and watching a tailgater who was purchasing eight (8) racks of Bud Light ask that poor kid behind the counter if he could pay by check. Only lane open. Groan city.

Two of the biggest deterrents to early season games by my fair weather friends were…

A) The Fair
B) The Heat in the Dome

One of those problems is fixed. You won’t beat the other one until there’s a product that entices the fence sitters.

If we want to jump start the season, it would really help to have @$$E$ in the seats. University should do whatever they can to get people in there.

I’m not sure if it’s single game tickets for $44 or ST? Either way, we’ve already bought all the tickets we need for the season. I just hope they start letting students in for free, let’s start packing the Dome; no sense in them going to waste and those kids are already paying crazy tuition.

Stubhub and the SU ticket office are two different worlds. The 44 dollar tickets are most likely the third level.
