Reading this board, sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who is all in on 39-1. You have been a vociferous voice of dissent to the "I have a bad feeling and I'm never wrong" crowd. The deFacto leader of the Occupy Marshall Street movement.

Been "Liking" your crusade lately man, thanks for being the voice to many. Let's rock this thing home these next 10 games. A cold one on me in NYC if you make it to the BET.

LOL....

Seriously you know how freaking neurotic I am about Syracuse Athletics?

I am going to keep making one of those posts every game, know that. Like wearing Orange cords.

And I consider myself in the "all in" crowd. It isn't that I am hoping, it's that my gut feeling is that 39-1 is inevitable.

If you are thinking of what it will take to win a national championship, you are "all in". Some of that thinking is going to sound negative because it's about maximizing performance. That means not being satisifed, even at 29-1.

If we get to 39-1, how many threads will there be bemoaining the ND loss. 40 win seasons are special and we would have been so close.

Thanks man. I echo how you feel. Throw in RF as he has also been a ringleader. Its a special season and I can't see nitpicking on a 29-1 season. Everyone should be all in.

I'm 'all in' for bemoaning that.

39-1?????????? Y U No 40-0???????? Fire JB!!!! Ban the 2-3 zone!!!!!

I can already envision the posts now...

"We're 35-1, but I'm not willing to say that we're a great team...yet."

I am all in far anyone who is not all in on the posting ethics zoning board.

I like witty and thoughtful posters regardless of where they fall on the cheerleader scale.

You are a legend Swish...

So what you are saying, if I'm hearing you right Swish, is that Marsh looks great in a skirt.

What are the most wins in a year? I think its like 37.

I think Memphis had 38 when they lost to Kansas a few years ago.

Gotta love Google...

Until the NCAA stripped Memphis of the 2008 season on August 20, 2009 Memphis held the record with a season of 38-1. Unless Memphis' appeal is successful all games in which Memphis fielded an inelligible player, Derrick Rose, will be cancelled resulting in the record being held by the following 4 teams:
Duke [2] (1986 (37-3)), UNLV 1987 (37-2), Duke [2] 1999 (37-2), Illinois [12] 2005 (37-2) and Kansas[1] (2008 (37-3))
[1] NCAA Champion
[2] NCAA Runner-up

I dont need google. You more than anyone should know this. Still have no clue what photosynthesis is for the record.

And I think SU's record for wins in a season sits at 31 ('86-'87). Be nice to take care of that in NYC and just add on from there.

Boohooo...now I feel left out...

And our 1990 Lacrosse title doesn't count.

To win the national we'll need 39 wins unless we lose to Lousiville and/or in New York. Who want to do that? Let's grab it all!
