In the second half of the Giants-Niners game, the G-men were struggling on offense and Eli Manning looked like he was doing his best Ryan Nassib imitation, getting sacked and passing to receivers short of the 1st down marker on 3rd down. SF was moving the ball and the tide had turned. Without the heads up hustle play on the punt that hit the Niners player in the knee, the Giants may very well lose in regulation. Again in OT, the offense can not sustain a drive and a strip on the punt return gave the win to the team struggling against an inspired defense.
I pray that HCMD brings in a coach that can turn around our special teams play. If we make only one key special teams turnover per game like the Giants did last night, I think we go bowling last year.
