I was at Friday's doubleheader at the Garden and forgot to post this...two NBA scouts were sitting in front of me for both games. One was taking hand-written notes and the guy directly in front of me was taking notes and looking up info on the players on his Ipad. They were with the Nets. I spoke to the guy in front of me during both games--very friendly, nice guy. I asked him his impressions of SU players, as they were also at Wednesday's games. He said that they were very impressed with Dion. He said that he thought he "showed a lot of skills, especially as a playmaker." I said "dion made some money last night." He laughed and said, "could be, could be."

I asked him what he thought about Kris and he said he had a good game. He also said Fab looks a lot better and has improved.

They didn't seem too crazy about how anyone played on Friday in either game. They seemed to keep a close eye on LeBryan (sp?) Nash. They were not at all impressed with him. I said to the one guy, "he hasn't exactly lived up to the all hype." The guy laughed and nodded in agreement.

I was curious if they go to high school games. He said they weren't allowed to and he affirmed my belief that they're nto allowed to because it would be tampering.

I just looked it up...they were Bob Ferry (Danny's dad) and the guy I was talking to was Khalid Green.

Dion is very strange; he isn't super quick, but he seems to have a knack for getting into the paint. He's not all the way there to being a great playmaker, but he is rapidly improving. Averaged 3.7 assists per 40 last year, he's at 6.2 per 40 so far this year, and the turnovers have only gone from 2.16 er 40 to 2.35 per 40.

Dion would have to be a point to go to the league. He would not make it as an undersized 2, IMO. He doesn't shoot it well enough.

They seemed to be interested in Fab, Dion, Kris and CJ for the most part. I was really watching who they were watching. Ferry took a lot of notes on Fab, in particular.

that last stat is the most impressive, considering his minutes have gone up more than 50%
