A "sports equinox" is a rare day when games from all four major professional U.S. sports leagues—MLB, NFL, NBA, and NHL—are scheduled to be played. This event is a significant one for sports fans because it happens infrequently due to different league schedules and provides a massive amount of content across multiple sports on the same day. The 2025 sports equinox is scheduled for October 27, 2025. This year it also includes MLS Soccer.
