Today SU had 11 receivers with at least one catch (the leader was Broyld with 4) and 8(!) rushers (although Custis and Flemming should be downplayed as RBs).

Was this about George McD trying to identify who the best options are against the tougher teams in the schedule?

Or is this what we should expect all season long?
If so, isn't this counterproductive to creating continuity?

And, btw, I grew up playing soccer so I know as much about running a football offense as I know about flying spaceships.

Can't speak to the WRs but we used Erv, Morris, McFarlane. AAM and PTG as runners.

I just watched UGA and they also used 5 backs. All of whom are 4 and 5 star recruits plus Gurley.
