Probably because if any money is made off of the game there is no set-up for the NCAA to get a cut. They can't have that.

I would have loved to have gone. But after going through the last disaster when they had Lacrosse play before the spring football game, there is zero chance I will be attending.

Very unfortunate.

These are the decisions that this Athletic Department makes that just makes you scratch your head.

They make you leave the event, clear it, and have a separate ticketed event. But there's nowhere to go. And the weather was awful that day. There was zero thought given to the experience of fans who want to stay for both events.

Everything Richmond said, plus the traffic getting in for the folks that just wanted to go to the spring game was awful because LAX was getting out so you had traffic trying to leave, traffic trying to get in.

the good news is this year the parking and road closures have surely improved!

You can park and get a shuttle this year. I agree last year was a mess trying to park.

I haven’t seen any dedicated posts for actual spring football happenings and I’ve been checking daily so figured I’d fire one up. Mods feel free to nuke if there is one already.

It runs from March 20th - April 10th

Spring game will be April 11th @ 7:30pm following women’s and men’s lax games.
