Despite life being hectic as ever I'm finally making the trek north for this years Spring game (first time ever). Who's joining me?

Also my oldest (15 year old) will be joining me and is planning to play football for the first time this season. Whats the on field player meet and greet like afterwards? Would the players allow him to pick their brains a bit or will they not have the time given the amount of youngsters looking to meet them? Also, how long does the actual scrimmage portion normally run?

The meet and greet thing is ok, but limited in time. Now they do selfie stations, with 3-4 players in a station. If you stand in line for one, you almost run out of time for others. Choose wisely. Eventually they blow a horn, and the players exit. They need to go back to autograph tables.

My six year old got about 10 minutes with a player last year. It really depends on who though.

I'm guessing we're not lucky enough to have it broadcast on ESPN 3 this year since I haven't read anything on it, and that it's not showing as an upcoming event in Saturday. Guess I've been spoiled the last few years.

Looking forward to seeing the new offensive scheme. I'm hoping for a big crowd to show support for the new coaching staff. You can't beat two "dome dogs" and a beer.

What a day. Football at the dome in the morning and SU over North Carolina in the evening.

Go Orange!!

I'm planning on going with my son and Dad. My son will be 3 in a few months. I want to make sure he grows up right. Hopefully the spring game will make him a crazy fan like the rest of us here.

No go for me. Neither is Houston.

Those of you attending, pack a spare liver.

Welcome back buddy. Where the heck have you been. What did you think of the coaching change? BTW Congrats on knocking out Man U. I hope you guys take Europa tough next round.

In. Will be sitting on the eastern side of section 116 (visiting team sideline), about halfway down. This is the normal meeting spot for the members of the Loyal Buffalo of Syracusefan.com club. Anyone who wants to sit with us is invited. Except Rutgers fans. You have to sit in the upper deck, quarantined from civilized people.

Might bring a person or two with me.

I am thinking I might try and do a live broadcast on Periscope with my phone. Maybe. If not, I will tweet a lot during the scrimmage. Spotters needed. Or maybe a color person for the broadcast...

Appreciate the welcome. Life's been exceptionally hectic and I needed to step away for a bit. Hasn't exactly calmed down a ton but with the tourney run and the Spring game on the horizon I couldn't stay away. Coaching change? If you mean SU; In Dino we trust though admittedly respected SS as a person and did want him to succeed because of that. I love having coaches that genuinely care about their players first and foremost. I'm forever the optimist (some things never change) and does feel good to have a head coach that has actually been a head coach prior. Offense will hopefully finally do things you'd expect of a dome team. Defense will be interesting with the Tampa 2 BUT as seen with our 2-3 in hoops sometimes things from the past will cycle back and prove better once again.

LFC coaching change, I'm thrilled. Been growing pains but you can see a clear direction moving forward. Was great to knock Man U out but following that up with the collapse to Soton... ugh. Of course we were always going to "randomly" draw Dortmund next.

We will be up from Penna, not sure of the exact count yet but anywhere from 4 - 8 making the trip. Need to get the grandson a new shirt he's outgrown the one from last year!! LOL

I'm heading up from your neck of the woods as well. Hopefully Trey is as excited with the move to DE as I, as a fan, am excited to see what his raw athleticism can do from that spot. LOVE the mentality of "anything I can do to play and help the team" as well. Have the utmost respect for him and hope his hard work bears fruit.
