Spring Practice #2: Tuesday, March 10, 2020

I think we have enough talent at the RB, WR and TE positions not to have to rely on Elmore catching passes.

I love him as a FB lead blocker and short gain specialist but imo he’s too bulky to be targeting in the passing game.

I agree. Not a fan of him catching passes.

I love Nykiem but wonder if he lost a step last year due to his injuries? I don’t remember him being caught by anybody in 2018 (ED or TD throwing) but I can’t recall him running away from anyone in 2019

Anybody have insight here?
Can't run away from anyone if you NEVER GET THE BALL...

Just my observation from last year, very frustrating.

Next to DeVito, the slot guys were the most negatively impacted by the awful line play the first 9 games. They were literally non existent after being a strong part of the offensive effort during the 10 win season.

Almost makes sense, going forward. The University can say it has measures in place to protect student athletes.

Ivy league cancelled its hoops tournament. It's possible March Madness is without fans. Moving past that, athletes returning will essentially be isolated on campus. Restricting access may be the justification to allow that to happen.
