Spring Practice Day #13: Tues. April 10, 2018

I would deduce by "depth" Babers is referring to 1) the slot, which has seen Cordy and Custis play

2) The offensive line that has given up a number of sacks in closed scrimmages and has seen Servais play every position

3) the linebacking group that lost all 3 starters from last year,

4) The safety position, because as much as Dino wants to he can't remove Cordy from it for any extended length of time,

And 5) the corner position because no one seems to be making noise there outside of Frederick and Bradshaw

Wonder what this scrimmage is gonna look like on Friday ...

I think he's referring to the back end. I think the drop off from the 1's to the 2's & 3's is a wide gap.

was really hoping to hear reports about Sharod on Friday. He's to hoping he'll be a go come August.

All great takes but disagree with #4. Our secondary was playing lights out with Martin at FS last year. Martin's injury arguably had more of an impact than ED's. Love AC as a leader and hitter, but he is a liability in coverage.

I dont know that at team like ours can ever survive with really almost the whole secondary and most of the 2 deep being hurt or less than 50% even in our best years then when the LBs are all dinged and the dline loses its depth too. its a snowball looking for a hill
