Spring Scrimmage Fan Guide

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Orange wrap up spring ball on Saturday, April 2 with their annual Syracuse Football Spring Scrimmage at the Carrier Dome. The scrimmage marks the first opportunity for fans to check out new head coach Dino Babers and his squad before the fall. For those planning on making the trip to the Dome, the pertinent details for Saturday's festivities are below:

ADMISSION & PARKING
Admission and parking are both free. Fans should park in the surface lots across from the Dome and enter the building through any one of the lower-level gates (A, B, C, D, E, ). Gates open at 10 a.m. Seating is general admission.

TIME AND SCRIMMAGE FORMAT
The scrimmage will start at 11 a.m. It will be a situational scrimmage between the offense and the defense that will last approximately 80-90 minutes.

GIVEAWAYS
Fans will receive a complimentary concession voucher for a free hot dog and soda (while supplies last) upon entering the Dome. Roster sheets and 2016 Syracuse football schedule posters will also be available at no charge.

SELECT-A-SEAT PROGRAM
Beginning at 10 a.m., fans will have the opportunity to walk the Dome and choose the best available seat locations for 2016 season tickets. A sampling of available seats will be marked in each section and members of the Carrier Dome Box Office staff will be on hand to assist with the selection process and answer any questions. FORMER PLAYERS WELCOME
More than 50 former players representing multiple eras of Syracuse football will be in attendance Saturday. During a break in the action, they will be invited onto to the field to take a bow. Some of those expected to be in attendance include Damien Rhodes, Cliff Ensley, Doug Hogue, Gary Bugenhagen, Pat Killorin, Gerhard Schwedes and Walter Reyes.

SELFIE STATIONS
After the scrimmage, fans will be invited onto the field for selfies with their favorite current Syracuse players. Stations will be set up along one half of the field with 5-6 players at each station, so bring your cell phones and your selfie sticks!

YOUTH CLINIC
Also following the scrimmage, a group of Syracuse football alumni, led by former receiver Donte Davis, will hold a free youth clinic. Per NCAA rules, kids must be in eighth grade or younger to participate. The clinic will last approximately one hour with participants rotating through several different skills stations. Participants should wear a T-shirt, shorts and athletic footwear. Former players expected to serve as instructors for the clinic include Chandler Jones, Jameel McClain, Rob Long, Delone Carter and Terrel Hunt.
