yup...another board member and I discussed yesterday that this defense could end up being the best in the big east this year. this team will be very fast and tough to block.

I agree we will be very fast across the. board defensively, and I love our young linebackers, but in general I fear we will be too small in our LB corps. I love Spruill but he wasn't ever big enough to play the MIKE, and Davis is so skinny. Lynch is obviously short for the LB spot. We seem to have a bunch of outside backers but no one to drop the hammer and make solid tackles in the middle. That's also why I still dont quite get why Myles Davis, at 6-2 230, was moved to fullback (unless there's more to the story, though I guess the coaches just think they know better than I do. What egos on those guys!).

name is Kyle Prater...was highly regarded coming out of HS and is from Chitown I believe...I think our D is going to be tough to run on also...we have the most athletes on the front line that we have had in years.
