Spruill out for Spring Practice

Coker couldn't get off special teams this year when the team only had six other scholarship LBs- one of whom redshirted. Don't know if it's going to happen for him.

he's Spruill's backup though and Spruill played every minute.

man must be the mental aspect with coker as he really seems to have the physical side down. Lets hope it clicks for him this year

honestly its got to be more precautionary then anything... we cant risk losing an impact player to in spring ball..rather have him fresh and healed for summer workouts and august camp anyway... let younger players get reps during spring...

Lower body is sure not sounding good, hope it's not a serious knee problem. What are the chances he'll be ready by the start of the season? Thank goodness we have Myles coming in this Spring, a lot of reps for MD, I'd imagine. Also, Danny Vaughan had some experience there, and I'm a bigger fan of his than most. Diabate may not be an every down MLB, but in the right situations, he will contribute. Then there's Virgille, an OLB, who I hear is up to 225 lbs. As far as Josh Glanton goes, he can play inside or out, so let's real him in this weekend. The dark horse here is a return to form by Coker. What an opportunity for him to prove himself in the Spring.
