Well let's see what we have in reserve.
Confirmed. No Staats today.
Barber starting.
You sir are an idiot. So weakened attack and weakened midfield. Midfield will be key in this game. Duke might take this one. Need to get back to full strength for the ACC tourney.

Not good. Although, today seemed to work out OK. Maybe just messing with ND.WAER Sports @WAERSports
Desko: Randy got hurt in the first quarter of the Hopkins game. Don't know how long he'll be out but I doubt he'll play next week.
Desko: We were surprised that Randy was hurt because he scored a goal at the end of the JHU game and was jumping up and down.

Desko on Staats: "I can't tell you how long he'll be out." Does not think he will play next week, hopes it's only a couple weeks.
That's what I thought was a possibility (and what I was getting at above). Let's hope so.Wonder if hes playing possum here, he seemed to be moving fine on the sideline and didn't have any visible brace or knee support on.

Ah, the Onuaku GambitI guess the other potential scenario is that Staats is hurt worse then we are letting on (partial tear or something similar). Very odd injury considering he not only came back in the game last week but was able to play the rest of the game and show almost no ill effects. Weird.
If it's an injury that needs to be addressed in terms of some type of surgery, I hope they tend to it quickly.
Seems like they don't know the extent of the injury.
Crazy.

Keep readingI guess not.

Coach Desko hopes to know more about Randy Staats status at practice later today.
