I can't say I really argue with that, all things taken together.
Though you'd think JB would garner votes considering what we've had to weather.
But Heath took a program that was in the can,
And made them competitive earlier than was likely the plan.

Brey was my 4th choice

JB - 17 wins, most ever in the expanded Big East
Heath - won 12 games with a team with very little Big East level talent
Cronin - his team was on the brink of a complete implosion, but he righted the ship and managed to come all the way back to earn a double bye

Given the number of positive surprise teams in the Big East this year it was going to be an extremely tight race with a number of solid candiadates. Exceeding expectations is always the basis for these awards
