Ya but it's not like this is intramurals where you are playing for fun. This is a business and football could be the money maker

Plus if that's the case why should anyone continue to donate or buy tickets? If we're satisfied as a program to maintain mediocrity I might as well just move on

agreed... What happens behind closed doors should stay there... We have to at least pretend to be seeking out a competitive playing field. Also, I'm not saying that's not happening, just responding to this post. You can't sell fans on complacency... That's basically like stealing from your fanbase. Win or lose, we must do everything in our power to compete!

And obviously I'm not saying that's what's going on either. I was just responding to the post saying we're a basketball school. Of course "right now" we're a basketball school, but I hate that thinking that oh well were a basketball school we'll get them back once the hoops season rolls along. That's BS and if we ever accept that thinking that's when I'll move on. We should be doing everything possible to get on equal footing against our conference opponents. The University is who created this disaster they should be the ones who help get it out.
