Stay classy, CMU...

Add in their 2 missing players and they still lose by at least 23.
They didn't need Davis to whip Purdue on the road last week. Rawls would have helped, but he would have needed to make his own holes, there weren't many there.

If Hunt has the right to defend himself then why did he get kicked out of the game for punching someone? Hunt should of brought that stuff to the refs attention. Otto is right teams will mess with him every game because of what happened.

There is pushing after the play regularly and rarely draws even a flag... he was tossed because he threw a punch. That is an automatic ejection. That's the difference.

Loss of control? The kid nearly took a cheap shot on him and did hit him on a dead play. Hunt wen to walk away and the kid got In his face. Hunt has every right to stand up for himself in that situation because, clearly, the refs didn't care. There was no swipe other than Hunt putting his facemask on the other kid and saying something. Probably the exchange discussed above. Sounds like you have a case of confirmation bias.
He swiped at a guy on a different play.

He didn't swipe at the guy, the guy was pushing him up under his pads and Hunt smacked his hands off of him. The CMU kid was playing way past the whistle and should have been flagged.

Chop blocking, talking sh$t to the ref...I think CMU needs to work on discipline much more than Hunt.

That's still not something he should be doing with his prior incident. He needs to take whatever they give him.

Accompanying that right to stick up for himself is the increased likelihood of ejection. Confirmation bias has nothing to do with this.

He has to be smarter. I don't.

I think people need to relax with Hunt. I saw his swipe and didn't think anything of it. It was the kind of thing that happens dozens of times each game. There is a danger in throttling Hunt back too far and he loses his edge. He has to know the line. He crossed it against Villanova (though, to be honest, had he simply kept an open hand and face swiped the guy, it might not have even been a flag and certainly wouldn't have been an ejection. It was the closed fist that did him in, the punch wasn't particularly violent or egregious, as evidenced by the fact that the ACC issued no subsequent discipline.) He didn't cross it today. I'm not particularly worried about him crossing it in the future.
