Steve Ishmael...

These injuries actually are turning out to be positives for us in a way, Ishmael, Lewis, Phillips and Long are really breaking out as players because of the injuries. Imagine how many threats we will have when everybody is back, gotta love it.

All with real game experience too.

@ccarlsononSU: Shafer on Ishmael: Security has asked if he should be in Manley at 12:30 at night.
Probably the best quote ever and just makes you want to root for Ishmael that much more!

That is awesome.

I know Shafer made the Shamarko comparison, but I remember similar stories about Paul Harris and DPS finding him paying hoops in Manley at 2am. Anyway, SU needs more kids who bleed football-those are the ones who will push the others.

I find it ironic that he sounds like a really nice guy, but is a grumpy face. Way to go, fellow grumpy face guy!

A lot of other schools have full-time nutritionists on staff to develop plans based on sport/individual needs.

I'm hoping the relaxed NCAA rule would have SU invest in an all-athlete dining hall with a full-time nutritionist and gets away from sticking the new athletes on South Campus and giving them Supercard money.

Next year when AJ has Ashton, Estime, Ishmael, Parris, Phillips, Custis, Enoicy, Moore to throw to, the offense will be explosive.
Think our OL will be good too although we lose Hickey and Miller.

I think Ish looks like he has the potential to be the best WR Syracuse has had since the last WR that wore #8. (Kevin Johnson, Jonny Morant, David Tyree, Mike Williams, Marcus Sales, & Alec Lemon included)

Not to say he's accomplished what those guys have just yet, but he very well looks like he can and will.

Don't be surprised to see us add another blue chip wr (or 2) this class to go with the young offensive kids; Tears and/or one of several from FL. Plus we're adding Strickland, Fredrick and Perkins to the RB mix. Of those 3 somebody will emerge. Strickland looks like a big time prospect right now.
