Hey Bees…I’m so happy and grateful today. Happy for you and all the stalwart fans that kept the faith through all of the tough times we’ve witnessed. Happy for all of the young folks that got to experience a big time win at the dome. Happy for coach Fran who brought a winning vision back to Syracuse. And happy for all the players that bought into Fran’s vision and believed in him. It was just one win by 4 points, but it was a superb day for all of us, reminding us of glorious games of the past.
I’m largely grateful for all of the above. I’ve waited for this win for a while and will savor it. Thank you Kyle, Lequint, Fran, Oronde, Trebor, Jackson, Marlowe, Fadil, Devin, Justin, Maraad, Duce, Clarence, others along the OL & DL, and so many others that worked hard to make this win possible. Devin, without that single play you made to strip the ball, grab it, and race to the end zone, we may well have lost that game. We owe you big.
Lastly, I’m grateful to the fans that inspired the players throughout the game. You made a difference. Thank you all…
