Teams that became bowl-eligible this week: Arizona, Boise State, Iowa State, Michigan, Troy, South Carolina, Mississippi State, Kentucky, Stanford, Northern Illinois and Southern Methodist

Our current bowl projection: Pinstripe Bowl on Dec. 27.

The Pinstripe Bowl is likely to grab a Northeast representative to ensure solid attendance. The conclusion of the year should determine whether Syracuse or Boston College is the more attractive option.

For now, we'll guess that it'll be New York's College Team.

Maryland would be a good match up as well. I'm all for the addition of more northeastern football games. I care much more about those than our non rivalries with NC State, FSU, et al. I get the reasoning but if we can figure out a way, in bowl games, to play the likes of WVU/Rutgers/UConn/Maryland i'm very happy

This game is better than any bowl matchup Cuse may get. You get to play one of the apex predator teams on their field with a legit chance to beat them. Alabama, Ohio State, USC, Notre Dame Oklahoma, FSU... those are the apex super powers. Take them down and take their mojo.
