I've been know to bring a case of UC to Fine Mess Tailgates in the Fall. It is a very underrated Lager. Shoot they brew Sam Adams and Brooklyn in the same facility.

Oh man Utica Club that brings back some memories. When I was going to School out at UC back in the early mid 2000's UC was a running joke and suprisingly not many college kids drank it but there were some who did. Personally I couldnt stand the taste and drank mostly liquor my first couple years but the Brewery its made at gives a great tour.

Utica Club is having a resurgence in Utica. All the locals are drinking it again.

UC for me! (I actually prefer the UC Light however).

PBR pounders are the "official" beer of our tailgates. Start with a 6 of Syracuse Pale Ale and a 6 of the opposing team's local area beer, then PBR me ASAP.

People hate on PBR, but in terms for bang for the buck, it's definitely the way to go, and it's basically the price of crap-beer like Keystone but way closer to Budweiser in taste, IMO.

Haha... Keystone is my favorite crap beer! A fantastic beer pong and flip cup beer.

Just for S&G's when I was at Wegmans last week I bought a sixer of Milwaukees Best which is a beer I dran a ton in college. Had no trouble drinking it still. I always tell people I dont drink crappy beer because its cheap, I drink it because it tastes good.

I've never heard of any student drinking it. Nowadays it's PBR, Keystone, Bud or BL, Rolling Rock, or whatever's cheapest on tap.

The worst beer I have ever had was in college. Tops used to sell a beer called Red White and Blue beer.
I think it was like $.99 a six pack. (and this was in 1990). something like that. No more than a buck and a half for a six pack. We used to drink a ton of this crap.

I wouldn't even know Utica Club was a thing if not for this board. Granny Cream Ale is among the worst beers i've ever had.
