I thought Steffi Graf was the best women's player ever. I'm still partial to her, but you're right - Serena doesn't appear to be slowing down too much. That was impressive today to lose it like she did in the second set and come back and win the third. I could do without the profanity, but I won't deny the talent.

Steffi was great, as was Martina. Several years ago, Serena had a run of bad luck health-wise and fell to 175th in the world, now she's back on top at 33 (will be 34 shortly after the US Open) and looking like she's a good bet to possibly catch and maybe even pass Margaret Court for most Grand Slam wins, 24. Serena has an infinitely greater chance of catching Court than Tiger has of catching the Golden Bear. Right now, 'bout only thing Tiger has a chance of catching is an STD.
