So we have close to 20 recruits and it isn't even July 1st. Sit back in your chair and ponder that! WoW!

So going forward does the staff get real picky? What are the positions of need now? Basically DL and any Top 300 game-changers in any position?

Nice problem to have for the coaching staff. Cuse coaches just need to babysit the commits, work a much smaller pool of '15 recruits, offer Plan B kids preferred walk-ons (maybe a greyshirt in a special case) and start recruiting Class of '16 kids.

BTW, give young White a pay raise!

White is a game-changer on the recruiting front. He deserves at least a 35% raise IMO. He is tied to McD's hip, so we need to keep him around first and foremost.

They are very focused on 2016 already as well as the remaining spots in 2015. I expect to see 3-4 verbals in the 2016 class by the end of the regular season. They're aiming for locking up some kids early at least. I heard that from 2 of the coaches.

Fun stuff to be a fan of right now. Recruiting hasn't been this exciting in 15 years.

Acosta is an absolute blessing.

I would love to see them lock up Rene and Washington before the season is over.

White and all the assistant coaches. Acosta is killing it in Jersey.

What is Whites background? He looks pretty young. He's doing a great job.

Dawson will count towards last years number since he enrolls in January. That leaves us with 18 commits, not including the silent verbal. We still could take anywhere between 5-7 kids. I expect 1CB, 1DT, 2-3LB, 1TE-Y, 1DE.

Do you like our chances with fox and Sheppard

White is what happens when you get a millennial that enjoys working hard at something they believe in, using tools for work that most people only use for fun.
White's impact is not just directly on recruiting, but also in generating some excitement in the fan base.

I like our chances with Sheppard. It will be a battle, but I like our chances in the end.

Unfortunately, I do not like our chances with Fox.

Is one of the safeties a LB/S hybrid? Can't remember. But we need another LB or two. Still scary thin there.

I'm not sure if anyone will commit over the dead period, but I am hoping we have Kyle Pugh, and Sawyer Dawson on board sometime in July. We should be considered the favorites for both right now.

Kelly or Blair could bulk up and play LB eventually.

One of thew underrated portions of filling a class this early is the ability to focus on the following year's class, as well. The big boys seem to fill up early and then start early on the following year. It's going to be a nice added bonus, and we're already seeing the staff spending a little more time on the rising sophomores.

Staff is crushing it. Nothing else to say other than I'm really excited to see what kind of class the staff can put together for 2016 with the mammoth jump that we're seeing and the amount of time they'll be able to dedicate instead of pushing to fill so many slots late in the game.

Yep, we see it in hoops.

I like Pickard's film the most out of the guys we have a chance with. I think he is another important get. Fox will be second next important IMO. I think its going to be hard competing against Stanford. Sounds like Stanford is his dream school. Sheppard is obviously important along with fellow new yorker Parkinson. Milan, Annan, Rsylik. Pugh, Dawson have SU high on their list. Austrian Robinson doesnt seem like he is too eager to visit. He is visiting all these other schools with no problem though.

The final group of key targets contains some of the most talented players we would have in our class. I think it's important to close strong with at least 4 or 5 of them. If I had to rank them in terms of overall talent i'd go... Parkinson, Pickard, Sheppard, Milan, Fox, Dawson, Annan, Pugh, Ryslik. In order of probability of being Orange i'd go Pugh, Parkinson, Dawson, Sheppard, Pickard, Milan, Fox, Annan, Ryslik.

As far as Robinson goes while it doesn't seem likely I don't want to count him out quite yet. We just have to get as many kids on campus as possible. I don't think we would have given ourselves a shot with Fox or Pickard until they were able to visit. I don't know what it is, but magic happens when we get kids up here. That is why I was so adamant in February and March when we didn't have any visitors. When we get kids up here good things happen. That's why I have extremely high hopes for 2016. We have already had some monster kids on campus, and will continue to do so throughout the Summer and season. I really want Patrice Rene to headline the class. I think the kid can be a star. He will definitely blow up this year, but we will be there throughout.
