I hope someone from AD reads this thought. When I was at SU in the 60's, the fraternities and sororities had block seating at Archbold and would hang bed sheet signs on the rails. Many of the dorms did the same for non-Greeks. They would party before the games and party after the games with a keg party and local bands. THEY CAME TO THE GAMES. Maybe if they were to rethink the seating, it would help student attendance.

The issue is that it's a mature product. There are substitutes, and competition will only increase w/ time.
Radio cut into live shows. TV cut into radio. The internet cut into TV.
Live football (and honestly football on TV) is fighting that battle.

If they want to go...they go. If they don't they don't. Yes...I'd like the Dome full and enjoy seeing the student section full but let's face it, many are going to be frontrunners much like the other fans so until it's the thing to do because everyone else is doing it, it'll stay low.
