We'll see how it goes when the competition gets tougher, but Izabel looks really good in the middle. That would be huge to have a 6-4 center who can match up to the other centers in the ACC.

Glad that Potts is going to be another body/shooter with the loss of Camp.

Still seeing some of those defensive lapses at times that bit us last year but offense looks sharper in FLJ year 2. Certainly Fair's shooting has a lot to do with that early on and hope it continues.

Yes the Potts news came at just the right time with the Camp news. You never know how a freshman will do, but another body is better than nobody.

Having Laureen Jackson as the head of Aussie Basketball, they identify them at a young age. Then they get them into good programs where they are taught the fundamentals of the game.
They advance up through the age groups eventually playing for the national teams.
Unlike here where they have AAU which showcases individual talent, the Aussie way teaches playing within the team.

2 wins and think we can say that we will can put pts up this year in a variety of ways and players. Given Fair's lofty goals of 3500 pts and player of the year in ACC, it was great to see her take charge early. Last year she seem to wait a bit and for us to take the next step up, she'll need to make her prescence known.

Latham another solid game. Rice 5 assists/4 steals, she just finds a way to make an impact. Wood had great game, she show some aggression and went strong to basket. Wilson favoring her leg when running the court, still she had some solid minutes.

The defense still a work in progress, though CCT didn't shoot the three great, we gave them to many open looks.
