Glad to see they made a bounce back from a terrible year last year, just a little frustrated and disappointed that it had to come to an end. Didn't watch the game, because I wasn't going to pay $13 to watch one game, and especially to watch them lose. Just followed along with the tweets.

This team had so much potential, but Gary doesn't do a very good job at preparing these girls for tournament games or big games in general, so im not entirely surprised at the result. Not only that, but Levy has had a relatively lack luster end to career considering the type of talent she is. Not even one point in the final game and only 29 goals on the year after posting 60-something her freshman year? She hasn't even been face guarded much this year.

Kinda curious to see how this is all going to shake out. IMO, Gait needs to axe Defliese, get someone else into the program that knows what their doing and good at working with the offense and draw control specialists. Also, not sure who he is going to hire as the new defensive coach. Gait doesn't have a great track record when it comes to new hires, they majority have been a complete mess. Lets just hope he can get it right next time around.

Draw controls were a HUGE problem last year. And, while improved, they were still a problem this year (I have not seen today's stats yet). I think they thought that Kempney would be the answer, but she is clearly not ready to play at this level. The other problem is defense. Gait seems to have undervalued this somewhat. Cooper is a fabulous freshmen, but they need more like her.

Defense always seems to be their Achilles heel. They can score but can’t stop the other team from scoring more.
