Women's Lacrosse SU 18 vs Army 7: Wed Feb 14, 4 PM

Coach Treanor: “I think the draw control unit still has to continue to improve, but it was definitely a good performance.”

Coach Treanor: “I thought Payton Rowley did a great job tonight. We wanted to attack early and she did that.”

Coach Treanor: “One of the things we talk about all time is being able to reset. It's a mental piece that we have to continue to grow.”

Anyone know if Jenny Markey will be back soon? If Baxter is down for any amount of time, we will need some veterans to step up, as the schedule is about to get brutal.

She was injured at the end of March.

Hopefully we get her back sometime this season.

If you look on the roster this year you will see the women's #22 is senior Claire Jeschke. She is the daughter of Eric Jeschke who was a starting middie for cuse in the 80s. ELITE local talent who was one of Browns best players before transferring here as a grad student. Unfortunately she may be dealing with an injury. Hope she can get out there for us this season. I assure you, she balls out.

I watched the replay and it looked like it was probably a cramping issue.
I hope that this is the case. They will definitely need her transition and her dodging ability for this game and moving forward. This is going to be a really tough game. Maryland has a veteran team (including their draw specialist). I have not been overly impressed with our draw unit after the first 2 games.
