SU 47 vs UConn 83: Tues Mar 23, 9 PM [NCAAT 2nd Rd]

The seniors need to move on...they're great kids but it's time for change... if we made half the bunnies we missed it would of been a more competitive game. l love Tiana but cancer has taken a physical toll on her competitive basketball wise...she'd make a great coach someday .

A somewhat disappointing season but Tiana is not really Tiana yet (hope she gets there), Priscilla was very inconsistent from the outside and perhaps not quite as athletic as hoped, Kamilla needs to get stronger and more assertive and the guards more determined to get her the ball in the low post, Emily transformed her body and is just beginning to realize her game-changing versatility, Digna and Kiara were both good players with some significant limitations that the team could not hide, and the bench needed more consistency and athleticism....plus it would be nice not to run into the UConn buzzsaw so early in the tournament.

Beuckers is really good. Has my vote for NPOY as a frosh.

Tiana was a gamer this year and made a great effort but she needs more time to get her body to 100%. Had some injuries, played hurt, much respect and appreciation for all she has done for the program.

Losing Pricilla was bad enough. Our top backup guard, probably our best athete and our best outside shooter. Losing all the top backup guards as well made any chance of an upset against UConn. You can't beat them with 1.5 guards.

Gonna miss the seniors...they were a great group. I wish them much success in the future.

The team next year will be far less experienced but longer, more athletic and I think we will shoot the ball better as well. Probably will start slow as players find their roles and make adjustments but by the end of the season, I think this will be a top 25 team.

way to go young ladies ---good season! thanks to all of you !! you were fun to watch----good luck to all of you

sure she would, but she will get stronger and may make a good pro player as well

q may need to evaluate his coaching strategy. he has repeatedly requited lights out but it does not seem to be translating. talk to jb----he seems more like he is directing traffic, and almost on the floor. seems to be overkill and may inhibit platers at times. just a thought. best womens coach we ever had

Getting the 8 seed in the tournament was a killer this year. I would have rather gotten a double digit seed but it's hard to compete when the bench is slim pickings.

Actually Q changed a lot up this year. The defense changing back and forth from zone to man is good and hopefully this continues. Feeding the ball inside a lot more to the bigs. I think this year saw the biggest changes for years to what Q was doing.

You won't have 2 bad shooters taking a lot of shots. Shayeann Day Wilson a natural point guard who plays with Latasha Lattimore, and played a couple years with Aaliyah Edwards will get the ball inside.
This better be her team from day one. Outside of Emily this team will be young, but they will grow together. The press will be better, more size and speed, no slow people in the lineup.
The battle for Atlantis, South Carolina, Uconn, Oregon should be top 5. They will grow a lot in that tournament. I won't be surprised if they knock off one of those teams.

This should be a top 15 minimum with the talent Q will have. No one is going to want to play this team at the end of next year.
