Well that went downhill quickly. Oh well.

Bad ending. We really looked tired those last few minutes - FSU is a physical team and killed us scoring down low. (42-28 outscored in the paint)

We didn’t score the last 4 and a half minutes of the game. We were still down just 4 with 48 seconds to go but FSU’s 3 pointer, the foul by Lewis seemed to really take the wind out of our sails. We were exhausted. Alaina did a great job rebounding but our shots sure weren’t falling. In the first half we were rebounding our misses well but just couldn’t score on many of them. One time we had 4 straight offensive rebounds and came away without scoring. These young women sure battle though.

Injuries and lack of depth have lead to many of these losses. Beating NC demonstrated what we can do. Recruiting, through the portal and bringing in outstanding HS talent is the answer!
