I played in HS, but I don't understand the rules in the woman's game. Love watching it, but don't quite get the penalties. Like you see someone check a stick while going for a loose ball and its a call, and at the other end you see someone check a ball out of someone's stick and its fine. Then, shooting space stuff. Just weird stuff.

You can check a stick as long as you don't make contact with the body.

And checks which pass over the head aren't allowed.
