Switching to it now. Game starts at 8

She needs about 140 more points to beat #1 on the male side - Pete Maravich @3667 points.
98 points - she’s up to 3569 now! WOW. An asterisk though, back in Maravich’s playing days, (1968-1970) freshman weren’t allowed to play varsity college sports so he did it in 3 years but still an amazing accomplishment for Caitlin. That rule didn’t change till 1972-1973 allowing freshman to compete.

Also, someone estimated that Pete would have scored an extra 13 points per game with the 3 point line.

That said, no coach would allow a player today the freedom to shoot all the time, and defenses are certainly better. The true measure for me is whether Clark is as far ahead of the curve against women today as Maravich was with men back then. I don’t know that answer.

21-4 is quite remarkable. FLJ has done an unreal job here and better yet, she’s just an amazing person. And also a former Bulldog is awesome too! Super happy for her and the team
Agree. Continue to say this team is criminally underrated.

Miami is in everyone’s bracket. They were a 9 seed in the ESPN one released yesterday. You don’t just go on the road against a solid NCAA team and completely dominate them unless you are something special.

We better start showing up in the top ten soon. We better start showing up as a 2 or a 3 seed soon. This is getting ridiculous.
