Great come from behind win, on the road!

Who would have thought that we’d win on the free throw line. Pitt beat us in rebounds, 2nd chance points, fast break points and shockingly, points in the paint. Glad and fortunate SU pulled that win out.

They should start SU games at halftime.
This is a very experienced team. At this point in the season, they have to start playing complete games. Can't keep taking a quarter or two off.

It seems like Tiana hasn't scored in the first half in several games. Transition baskets were her bread and butter but that part of her game is essentially gone now.

When she penetrates, she causes major issues. It looks like she is putting a lot of priority on getting the ball to Kamilla in positions where she can score.

Hopefully Digna, who finally came out of her offensive slump last game (I think it was last game), find her confidence again. She had an 0-fer again, and is barely looking at the rim any longer. She is our best defensive player, which helps make up for her problems scoring.
Priscilla is having a typical frosh season. Lots of highs, lots of lows. I think she is our best outside shooter and she can finish inside quite well but she has a hard time getting shots against a good defender. At least she isn't forcing so many shots any longer.

Kamilla is too nice and maybe doesn't go after the ball as hard as I would like sometimes, but wow, she is a talent. Every game she gets a little more polished on offense and a little more solid on defense. Can't wait to see what kind of a player she is as a senior.

Kamilla really impresses me. Centers usually take a while to develop. Being so tall, their eye-hand coordination and strength usually lag their height. In addition they usually have picked up some bad habits like bringing the ball down before going up, putting the ball on the floor rather than learning efficient footwork, not needing to keep both hands up while defending, rebounding, etc. Kamilla is way ahead of most freshman centers. She runs the court so well, has such great hands and her footwork on offense is so good especially for a freshman. Saw her execute a spin move on a score - wow.

I agree she can become dominant using her body more on offense to get position and develop an almost unstoppable back to the basket game. I love how she keeps the ball up after the catch and after rebounds. Her offense is so far ahead of most centers offense. I agree with Tom - we have so much to look forward to. If she can coordinate jumping and catching - yikes. Our defense has been so porous this year, it’s more difficult to assess her there. She’s obviously a blocking machine but with so many perimeter defensive breakdowns it makes her susceptible to foul trouble.

Williams, Cardosa, and Emily are the best frontcourt with Tiana, and Kiana at the guards. That lineup works best offensively and defensively.
