Burrows now that she has her shot back needs to join Latham up front in the lineup.

Fair plays with the ball too much instead of moving the ball. She thinks she can dribble through three people which means she has multiple teammates open. She‘s not selfish, but is too “cocky”.

She and Wooley need to take better shots within the offense. The 2 of them almost shot SU out of the game.

They need to take care of the ball. Over 20 turn overs. Seems to be a pattern this season. Lot of unforced. Cut the turn overs in half team wins by 20. Needs to get corrected or will cost them games in conference.

That was fugly.

For a 25th ranked team, against one of the easier remaining games on our schedule, that was definitely a sub-optimal performance. From a nailbiter to up 20 to up 10 to up 20 to winning by 7 or so. Whew. Grateful for the win.

I don't have any answers. The roster seems to be maximizing their talents. Hopefully that injured player comes back and we can stay in the top 25. Things are about to get a lot harder.

A way too close game, but a win!
4 things stand out for me:
*We need better defense on shooters, 3 point
*We need our taller post players back
*Less dribbling and more passing
*The refs suck, very one sided calls!

Woolley 0-13 on 3pt shots in last 3 games and some of those shots were not even close. Hoping that she gets back on track. Rice has hit dbl figures only once in last 8 games, started the season with 6 straight games in dbl figures. With both of them struggling it makes it easy for teams to play defense on Fair. Latham with only 4 shot attempts yesterday, need her to get more touches than just off oboards.
