I am curious about that too. I figured it had to do with who would get better attendance, but Walsh Gym only sits 1300 people. We'd probably get the same, just way more spread out

We averaged 2,401 in attendance and had 9 games over 1900 this past season. I would think (barring bad weather) that attendance wouldn’t really be an issue vs Seton Hall. That’s why I asked but it may have been a monetary issue for SU, where the costs holding it at the dome might exceed the expected revenue. The attendance for the first NIT game against Kent was well below average (only 689) but the weather was poor. Wish tonight’s game was here though.

Because Seton Hall is the home team, they have broadcast rights and apparently this is what they use.
